Frequently Asked Questions

Because we are committed to offering you and your dog the best experience possible, Doggie Stays and Getaways offers the following optional add-on services:

  • Transportation Fee. (i.e. Picking up or dropping off your dog at your home, picking up additional food or items for your dog, etc.) @ $25.00 ($35 if you live further than 15 minutes from us).
  • Scheduled Vet or Groomers appointment @ $55/hour (includes transportation).
  • After Hours pickup/dropoff (dependent on staff schedule) $15.00 per pickup/dropoff.
  • Weddings (and other special occasions). Have a special day you want your dog to be part of? We can transport your pup to and from your big day and supervise your dog while there. We have even dressed up dogs to be groomsmen and flower girls! Feel free to get creative and have an experience that suits your needs. @ $65.00/hour (includes transportation)

In order to respond to your booking, we require requests to be sent through 48 hours in advance. 

We encourage owners to book as early as possible, so a spot is reserved. You’re welcome to request a last minute booking but there is no guarantee that we will see your request if it’s sent with less than a 48 hour notice.

10-11am and 3-6pm Monday-Sunday

Local Adventures (@ $35) run approximately 60-90 minutes and Mountain Adventures (@ $55) run approximately 2-4 hours and include some of the best off-leash trails, dog parks and swimming spots in and around Boulder County. Your dog does not need a Boulder County Voice and Sight Tag but does need to stay with sitter while walking and come when called. While most adventures occur off-leash, we can also keep your dog on leash, or visit areas where your dog can be off-leash but in a fenced area. Includes all transportation, pictures and videos of each outing! Dependent on weather and availability. Full refunds are given for any adventure not used due to a weather cancellation.

(If you are interested in this option but unsure of your dog’s recall abilities, please speak with Lila about the option of using a GPS vibration training collar during the outing).

Please note: holiday rates only apply on the nightly dates listed above. Doggie daycare and adventure getaway prices remain the same for holiday stays

Dropoffs occur anytime within 8:30-11am and 3-6pm on the first day with no additional doggie daycare fee. A doggie daycare fee only applies on the last day of a stay and only if the dog is picked up between 3-6pm. Thus, if picking up between:

  • 8:30-11:00am included with an overnight stay
  • 3:00-6pm Full Day Doggie Daycare applies @ $45/dog, $50/puppy

If you’re running late, have a delayed flight, etc., and cannot pickup your dog by your original scheduled time or by 6pm, your dog will need to spend an additional night at your expense. This will include the nightly rate for your dog’s stay.
